Toy Fox Terrier - Toy Group

Originating in the United States as a ratter and defense against other vermin. The Toy Fox Terrier is an energetic dog that likes to play. They stand from 8-11 inches at the shoulder and weigh from 4-8 lbs. They are one of the smallest dogs in existence. Their coat is short and is tricolored, white, black and tan, white and tan, white and black. All with about half white on the body as well as a colored head. They enjoy adventure and exploring. The Toy Fox Terrier is full of energy and can be stubborn or fresh. They occasionally have problems with strangers and other dogs. However they are also a lap dog. Exercise is needed in medium amounts as well as a daily play session. This breed is relatively easy to train and for that reason may be a good choice for first time dog owners.
