The Swedish Vallhund is attached and loyal to it's family. They are tough yet loveable and love to work. It is a dog that needs grooming about once a week. Standing from 12-13 inches at the shoulder and weighing 25-30 lbs. The Swedish Vallhund is built to be fast and sturdy. Exercise should be done for about an hour or more a day. Like most herding dogs the Swedish Vallhund is independent though not as independent as other herding dogs. This means that at times they may not be obedient and are just a dog being a dog.
