This dog breed can be aggressive towards other dogs and strangers. They are devoted towards to their family however their terrier instinct causes them to be independent and often single minded. Exercise should be done for about an hour a day though this dog is not highly energetic. They are more of a hunter than a play mate and are stubborn when training. Their medium length wired coat is colored in solid white, or with yellow or tan. It needs grooming twice or more a week and clipping every three months. Their history of being a badger and fox hunter is well documented. The Sealyham Terrier like all terriers is able to hunt and relentlessly show courage. Terriers are dogs that need repetitive training and obedience to ensure that they follow their masters lead.
