Clumber Spaniel - Sporting Group
Originating in England as a bird flusher and retriever. The Clumber Spaniel is one of the most laid back dogs that exist. They are usually attached to one person and are more of a companion than a hunter at home. Their coat is of medium length and is colored mainly in white with yellow and orange markings. They stand from 17-20 inches at the shoulder and weigh from 55-85 lbs. Of all the spaniels they carry the most weight. Their nose is invaluable to hunters in the field. Exercise should be done for about an hour a day. This affectionate dog is friendly with other pets and usually with strangers. They are relatively easy to train though they may be stubborn at times. You can expect to relax at home with this dog and have a adventure in the outdoors. Due to their coat being white you may need to bath them often. With this breed you will be getting a drooler and a dog that snores. These two qualities of a mastiff are inherent in the breed.
