Cat's and dog's are one of the most well known rivalries. However, it is possible for both of these animals to get along. Often times a cat will hiss and scratch at a dog. When you have a dog that is calm or you see its body language as calm around a cat. Then the two can be introduced. On the other hand if your dog is lunging at a cat then it is best to separate them.
