Originating in France and used as a pointer and retriever. The Brittany is a dog that stands 18-21 inches and weighs from 30-40 lbs. Their coat is of medium length and is colored in orange and white, liver and white or tricolor. The Brittany is highly energetic and at the same time alert and attentive. They are one of the easiest dogs to own due to their affection, playful nature and ability to adjust to strangers. This dog breed is easy to train and loves to run and play games. The Brittany was originally thought of as one of the least reliable pointers however today they may be the most popular.
