The Boston Terrier originated in the United States and is a blend of old English and French Bulldogs and the now - extinct White Terrier, with constant selection for smaller size. It stands 15-17 inches tall and weighs from 15-25 lbs. They require moderate exercise however are quite active and excitable. Their coat requires grooming once in a while it is a short coat. This terrier is a favorite with the American public due to its engaging personality. This dog breed is colored in brindle, seal, or most common black with white markings. Ever engaging to the mood of their owners. The Boston Terrier is a dog that is eager to learn and easy to train. They may bark alot and at times they do not get along with other dogs.
