American English Coonhound - Hound Group

Like the Bluetick Coonhound, Redbone Coonhound, Black and Tan Coonhound and English Coonhound. They are noisy at the sense of a scent they are on the trail of. Their coat is short and can be found in the colors of black and white, red and white as well as ticked colors such as blue and red. Training should be done in repetition as well as the tolerance of their scenthound instincts. The American English Coonhound is a dog that needs adequate exercise due to it's active nature.
